Silk-Screen Printing

Is a printmaking technique involving the use of stencils and a porous fabric to create a sharp-edged image. The Ink is placed on top of the screen, and a squeegee (rubber blade) is used to push the ink evenly into the screen openings and onto the fabric. The ink passes through the open spaces in the screen onto the paper or fabric below. If more than one color is being printed on the same surface, the ink is allowed to dry and then the process is repeated with another screen and different color of ink. Screen printing is currently very popular in commercial printing, where it is commonly used to put images on apparel and accessories and it makes it a great choice for your company, school or event. Our pricing is based on number of colors in your design, print location along with color and quantity of items that you need to be screen printed.



Embroidery

Is the art of decorating fabric with designs stitched in strands of thread using a needle. Today is created by using a specialized machine that can read a computerized design to automatically create a stitched design. It is commonly used to apply images on apparel and accessories and it makes it great choice for your company or event. It will give more corporate look when applied to polo shirts, jackets and hats. Pricing is usually based on size and number of stitches in your design, design location along with colour and quantity of items that you need to be embroidered.



Numbering and Lettering

Is a method of decorating garments with custom names, numbers and team, or school names. Pre-made numbers or letters are usually heat transferred with the heat transfer machine under high temperature and pressure onto garments. Our high quality durable numbers and letters are available in a wide variety of colors and styles. Pricing is usually based on number or letter size and quantity along with color and quantity of garments.



Digital Transfer

is the art of applying high resolution images onto fabric using heat transferring machine. Image is usually digitally printed on heat transfer paper and applied under high temperature and pressure with heat transfer machine onto white or natural fabric. It is commonly used to apply high resolution images and multi color artwork on apparel. Pricing is usually based on size of your design, design location and quantity of items that you need to be applied.



Vector Art

Is art that is built (actually drawn) in a vector or object based program such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, or Adobe Freehand. Each object in vector file can be selected and individually manipulated independently from the rest of the image.



Screen Printing

Minimum Order

We have a minimum order of 24 pieces.  The order can be mixed sizes and colors as long as the design colors do not change.

Imprint Sizes

Generally a full front or back imprint can be up to 13" wide and 14" tall.  Left chest imprint usually range from 2.5" to 4" Wide and up to 4" tall.  Sleeve imprints are usually 2.5" to 3" wide and up to 12" tall for sleeve length imprints.  Youth shirts have a smaller print area and will limit the size of the print on larger shirts.

Artwork

If you would like to use your own artwork, you can submit the artwork on a disc or via email.  If the artwork submitted requires editing, touchups, or does not meet Promotional Products Plus specifications, we reserve the right to modify the artwork for an additional charge.  Artwork that is submitted as a business card, photocopy, pen and/or pencil drawing, or letterhead cannot be used without alteration.

We accept artwork created in most professional graphic applications in PC format.  An art charge will apply to your order only if the artwork has to be reproduced.  If you are submitting camera-ready art please include the names of all fonts, PMS colors, and have the images sized appropriately.

Custom Artwork

We will happily work with you to furnish the best artwork that meets your particular business, event, school, church, family, or organizational need.  If you have a general idea of something you like, we will develop artwork to fit your needs.  Custom artwork can be provided at an hourly rate of $75 per hour.  Rates will be charged on the half hour.  Most one and two color designs will generally take less then one hour, as long as few revisions to the original artwork are required.  All artwork is kept on file at Promotional Products Plus.



Common files extensions for this type of file include .ai, .eps, .cdr & .fla.

Turnaround Time
Our typical turnaround time is 2-3 weeks.  If you have a deadline that does not fit within our standard turnaround times, please let us know.  We will try our best to meet your deadline.  These turnaround times do not include shipping time.
